Angled spreading board for butterflies and moths, with a grid sticker on both side panels. Handmade in my small workshop in Slovakia. I've been making spreading boards for over 15 years and I set every butterfly I collect on them.

- XPS foam, 8° angle, length 29.5 cm
- S: side panels 3 cm, groove 5 mm (wingspan up to 6 cm)
- M: side panels 4 cm, groove 8 mm (wingspan up to 9 cm)
- L: side panels 5 cm, groove 12 mm (wingspan up to 11.5 cm)

About the grid sticker: the lines run across the board, perpendicular to the groove. They help you set the inner edge of the forewing at 90° to the body and check that both sides are symmetrical.

The butterflies in the photos are not included, they only show the size.

LepiLock (optional, size S only): a small 3D-printed insert for the groove. It holds the pin straight and perpendicular to the board, keeps the body in the middle of the groove and supports the head and abdomen. Made for pins size 1 and smaller. It fits about 90% of Palearctic butterflies that fit on the S board. I haven't tested it on moths like Noctuidae and it probably won't fit them, since their proportions are different. You need 4-8 pieces per board, depending on the size of the butterflies. To get it, choose the variant "S + LepiLock (8 pcs)".
